Project
CUT by Wolfgang Puck is a contemporary steakhouse in New York City with a strong emphasis on design, atmosphere, and highly polished food presentation.
The assignment was to create a broad editorial image library covering signature dishes, cocktails, interiors, kitchen activity, and the dining experience. The photographs were produced during an existing commercial shoot, giving the final collection a mix of carefully composed hero images and more spontaneous moments from the restaurant in operation.
Creative Direction
The visual approach balanced precision with authenticity. Rather than creating isolated hero images, the goal was to document the complete hospitality experience—from the kitchen to the dining room—while maintaining the refined aesthetic of the CUT brand. Working alongside a commercial video production required an efficient workflow that adapted to changing sets and live restaurant operations without interrupting the production.

Atmosphere
Images created to communicate the mood, lighting, scale, and character of the restaurant beyond individual dishes, helping establish a recognizable visual identity.
In Use
The photographs were delivered as a flexible editorial image library supporting social media, marketing, and ongoing brand communication. Designed for use across multiple channels, the collection provides a consistent visual identity while allowing the restaurant to tell different stories over time.
